TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Fees payable by cash or internet banking
- 10% reduction for siblings
- Fees due on enrolment or before the 1st day of term 10% late fee if not paid by due date.
- Fees are calculated by term period not by week.
- All public holidays are observed and taken into account within the fee structure.
- Missed classes may be made up by taking another class at the same level or lower, any missed classes can not be applied to any subsequent terms tuition.
- We reserve the right to change, cancel or amalgamate classes as necessary.
- DANCE PLACE will take photographs/video for social media, advertising and learning purposes please email to advise me if you don’t want your child to participate in this.
All fees are nonrefundable.

Do you offer trials?
Yes we offer a free trial class, click the link on the website. We will only be too pleased to chat with you to discuss your options and help you make the best choice to start your dance journey. We have Open Days with FREE trial classes in January – keep an eye on our social media for dates or contact us so we can pop you on the mailing list.
What are the 2021 term dates?
- Term 1: Jan 27-April 1

What dance styles do you offer?
We offer 10 different genres of dance as well as classes in strength & conditioning and specialised technique. Have a chat with us so we can help you find something you love.

Do I need a uniform?
We are developing some DANCE PLACE merchandise dropping towards the end of term 1, 2021, in the meantime wear anything black that you feel great in and can give you a full range of movement; singlets, crop top, t shirt, shorts, leggings etc Petites are free to wear whatever they want as long as it gives complete movement.
Hair: in a style off the face and neck.
Ballet: leotard, tights, leather shoes, hair in a bun.
Do you do exams?
Yes! We do the following – if you are interested in sitting exams chat with us so we can advise how the process works.

I’ve never danced before, what class do I join?
Whatever your ability is, we have a class for you! Our classes are based on age & ability, If you’re not sure about what style you want to enrol in please arrange a time to have a chat with us! You can also trial a couple of classes to find something that’s just right
Can I join halfway through the term?
Yes! In most cases you are welcome to join a class at any point of the term, in fact if you are wanting to enrol during the term we encourage you to do so rather than waiting for the next term to start. Our teachers will help you get up to speed with the work so you’ll fit right in!
How do I pay my fees and when are they due?
Once you are enrolled, you will be emailed an invoice. All fees are due before your first class and can be paid online (just remember to use the students name as a reference!)
What happens if I miss a class?
You can make up any missed classes at the same or a lower level, any missed classes can’t be transferred to the following terms fees unfortunately

How do I join a troupe?
Being part of a troupe takes your dancing to the next level! We hold troupe auditions at the beginning of the year & sometimes during the year too. Everyone who wants to be part of a troupe is cast in at least 1 troupe. To be part of a troupe you need to be taking UNLIMITED classes including Ballet. Chat to us to discover all the opportunities.
