With over 30 years experience in the industry Sandra is thrilled to share her expertise with young dancers, to mentor & inspire the next generation of young performers.
She has worked in every major theatre in New Zealand as director, choreographer or actor and has been a passionate teacher of dance owning 2 studios, passing on her love of dance and empowering 100’s of happy young students. Sandra prides herself on developing well rounded, capable and respectful dancers who emerge from their time training with her well equipped to embark on a career in dance or simply be better prepared for any aspect of their lives by developing confidence, work ethic, independence, respect for themselves and others.
Sandra moved to Sydney at the beginning of 2020 from Auckland leaving behind one of New Zealand’s top dance studios where she has been Artistic Director for 7 years.
Sandra’s students and choreography have won top prizes and scholarships at major competitions throughout NZ, Australia and the USA and have been accepted into leading performing arts facilities all over the world.
Head of Ballet
Carlie’s goal has always been to share her love of the arts with the younger generation. Graduating as a registered teacher from her studies with the Royal Academy of Dance she is proud to have guided her students through their RAD exams with an 100% pass rate. Carlie has completed her Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management and also is a registered Acrobatic teacher through Acrobatic Arts.
Professionally she has worked with the Wiggles, Screaming Jets and Alannah Hill and spent almost a decade in the US as a dancer with Carnival’s Cruise Lines cruising the Carribean. As a member of the The Royal Academy of Dance UK, she has mentored students completing the Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies programme. Carlie has obtained her certificate lll and lV in fitness specialising in boxing and boot camps. Carlie founded her own studio “Turning Pointe Dance Company” in July 2013, her students have gone on to realise their dreams of becoming a ballerina and to follow individual careers and watch them grow into performers but more importantly wonderful adults.
Brent Street graduate Dylan Bull is a professional dancer located in Sydney. At age 9 he started training in the performing arts and is skilled in a variety of genres in dance. Dylan has now performed for company’s such as sun rise, AMWAY Japan and The state of origin, danced behind artists such as Vanessa Amerosi, John Paul-young and Pauline, and also guest performed for choreographers such as Jade Bug and Willdabeast.
